Banana and Berry Smoothie Blast
Our family love a smoothie and they are such a great way to enjoy your fruit and vegetables. It certainly helps towards your 5 a day!
This smoothie has a delicious berry zing to it, thanks to the addition of the ‘Yor Berry Blast energy stick’ from Bare Oils. A super product that harnesses the power of Mother Nature. Made with frozen raspberries, dates and bananas, this smoothie certainly has a natural feel to it and is bursting with delicious, healthy fruit.
This particular recipe is perfect for grown ups post work out or drink it at breakfast time for a healthy start to the day.
For little ones, simply leave the Berry Blast energy stick out making it a perfect treat for young ones too. Smoothies are great as an after school snack when your littles ones are hungry or alternatively serve as a smoothie bowl with a spoon and give it to your kids as a healthy pudding.
This smoothie is very easy to make. Just bung all the ingredients in to your mixer or blender, whizz away and pour. And don’t forget to top with your favourite nuts and seeds.
Gluten free. Dairy free. Soya free.

My boys prefer theirs as a smoothie bowl and scoop up theirs with a spoon.
The great thing about smoothies is that you can practically throw anything in and they taste delicious. There are already plenty of healthy smoothies to choose from on this blog, just go to the breakfast smoothies section. My personal favourite is the apple and spinach smoothie bowl, a wonderful combination of green fruit and veg, and the colour of the finished drink is fantastic.
HAVE A HAPPY TUMMY DAY ?
