My Flapjacks Appear in Baking Magazine
I was over the moon to see a photo of my healthy, no sugar, banana flapjacks on the front cover of the Easter edition of the Brilliant Baking magazine this week. What made the feeling even better was the fact that they devoted three pages to my recipe. Seeing it all in print, which included a pic of Little J and I, was just an amazing feeling and one that I will never forget.
When I started blogging five months ago, my motivation was to create, cook and bake wonderful food for my two little ones who are gluten, dairy and soya intolerant. They used to suffer terribly with stomach ache, lack of appetite and fatigue and, since changing their diet, they have made a miraculous improvement and their tummies are much happier.
The journey we have travelled as a family has been a tumultuous one but the recent rewards and seeing the boys so much happier and healthier has made it all worthwhile. You can read about our journey here.
So thank you Brilliant Baking Magazine for choosing this healthy, no sugar flapjack recipe and for giving me my first little publicity break! To make your own deliciously healthy flapjacks, just click here for the recipe.
And what a wonderful month March has been for us. On top of appearing in the Brilliant Baking Magazine Little J (who is 5) and I were also chosen to appear on the front cover of the March edition of Mum’s and Dad’s magazine. So another very rewarding moment.
If you are experiencing your own little journey, in any shape or form, then I would love to hear from you.
HAVE A HAPPY TUMMY DAY ?
